Milano and Iero: World's Sexiest Vegetarians for 2008!

Drum roll, please … the 2008 World's Sexiest Vegetarians are Alyssa Milano and Frank Iero!

Thanks to thousands of votes from devoted fans like you, Alyssa and Frank have joined an elite group of gorgeous, compassionate celebs who—like 2007's winners, Davey Havok and Kristen Bell—know there is nothing sexy about eating flesh.

This year's contest was super close, but in the end, gorgeous Charmed alum (and my Sexiest Veg pick!) Alyssa Milano proved too much for the other lovely ladies to compete with. Just one look at her "Let Vegetarianism Grow on You" peta2 PSA and you can see why she won the coveted crown. Winning by a landslide, Frank Iero stole the show and, by the looks of it, thousands and thousands of hearts. The My Chemical Romance guitarist blew the competition away with those piercing eyes and his adorable smile.

This year's runners-up were quite a crop of stunners. Coming in a close second are The Hush Sound's lovely Greta Salpeter and the one and only Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars. Also rounding out the top five sexiest slots are the beautiful Natalie Portman, super hot Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta, 2007 World's Sexiest Vegetarians Kristen Bell and Davey Havok (sigh), and Heroes castmates and real-life lovebirds Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia.

Since being sexy is always in vogue and being "green" has become more than a passing fad, join the club and cut the meat out of your diet. You'll feel great, you'll look great, you'll be saving countless animals, and you'll be helping the planet too. Now if that's not sexy, I don't know what is.
