  • About me: My proper bio: Lara was born on a cold December morning—the younger of two children. Knowledge about the activities of her childhood years is sketchy and often contradictory. She obtained a diploma at the American University, and around that time set off to explore the continent of Africa. After her return from the motherland, she taught at a local schoolhouse before leaving to pursue her greater passion of helping to save animals.

I like: Vegans, riding my bike in heels, crafts, adding to my vast snow globe collection, Africa, baking vegan pies, eating vegan pies, fall, knitting, swimming in baby pools, playing really bad tennis, writing silly country songs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, pirates, Halloween, kite flying, and nail polish

I hate: Pretentious people, smelly people, apathetic people, fur hags, germs, loud chewers, mosquito bites, places without trees, being broke, inactive activists, and beets

Why you went veg: Being vegan is delicious!

How did you get your nickname “Lou”? I think my parents always secretly wanted a son, so they gave me a boyish nickname. Oh were they disappointed when they found out that I couldn’t throw a football for the life of me.

Two truths and a lie: I have bungee-jumped off the highest jump in the world. I was born with the stub of a tail. I was once chased through the woods by a troop of baboons. Guess!

Is it true you live in a haunted cottage? Some may say that it is haunted, but I think that there must be a logical explanation for the floating objects and the voices.
